Nicole is a spirited young woman who has spent 17 years in foster care. Her experiences have shaped who she is today, driving her to get involved in activities like the Black Student Union, choir, and band. Music has been her refuge, especially during difficult times when she faced bullying in school because of her background. Knowing how isolating it can feel, she is determined to help other kids in similar situations, showing them they are not alone in their struggles.

Nicole works extremely hard to raise her kids and just get by. Due to her current financial situation, Nicole can rarely afford to buy things for herself and instead constantly puts her kids' happiness first. However, after 16 years in the foster care system, Nicole knows the importance of having outlets to relieve stress and bring joy on a daily basis. She has long wanted a Meta Oculus VR headset, but cannot afford to buy one herself. Being granted this headset would bring so much joy to Nicole, and give her relief from her daily stress
