Sonia is a retired teacher currently working as an Aide in a special education program to keep herself afloat. She only receives Social Security, and it barely covers her mortgage. Despite working all her life, she has no savings. Sonia doesn't have many family or friends for support and relies heavily on her beloved dog, Diva, for companionship. He is truly like a son to her!

Sonia is a devoted dog lover who absolutely adores her beloved dog, Aodahn. Unfortunately, Aodahn has been sick for several weeks and urgently needs veterinary care. Watching him suffer has been heartbreaking for Sonia, especially since she is on a fixed income and cannot afford the cost of his treatment. Aodahn means the world to her and is a cherished member of her family. With the proper veterinary care, he has a chance to feel better, regain his strength, and return to the playful, joyful life he loves, filled with running and enjoying every moment.
