Jeramiah is a determined young man committed to doing well in school and on the sports teams he plays on. Jeramiah not only plays on the baseball and basketball teams at his school, but is also on travel teams because of his dedication to the sport and his teams. Jeramiah works hard in school so he can keep doing what he loves. Jeramiah has been able to be successful in his endeavors even after facing constant instability with his family, including being in foster care and separation from his sibling and parents.

Jeramiah idolizes the Brooklyn Nets and has his sights set on adding a Nets sweatshirt to his wardrobe for the upcoming school year. He doesn't just watch the games; he studies them, spending time on YouTube going through practice footage to pick up techniques he can bring to his own game, even when he's off the court. For Jeramiah, a Nets sweatshirt would be more than something to wear; it would represent the team and players who've helped shape his love of the game.
