Marisela experienced foster care twice, entering the system for the second time at age 11 and remaining with her three younger sisters, including her youngest sister who was only three. Although the experience brought feelings of worry, insecurity, and not fitting in, Marisela has grown into a resilient, creative, and resourceful person who uses her strengths to overcome challenges. She enjoys reading, staying active, and strength training, and she is passionate about creating a healthy and happy life for her family. As she prepares to begin her MBA, Marisela is looking for ways to make everyday life easier and more manageable, especially as a busy parent. An air fryer toaster oven would help her save time preparing healthy meals for her family while allowing her to enjoy some of her favorite foods, such as salmon bowls and sweet potato fries!
