Mya has been in foster care for some time now. She has been fortunate to spend most of her time in care with family. Unfortunately, due to deaths and health diagnoses, Mya has had to sign herself into extended foster care. She is very independent and caring. Before moving into a transitional living program, Mya stayed with her great-grandmother, whom she cared for until it became too much. She is a sweetheart, always willing to help others without being asked. Mya enjoys playing Sim4, crafting, and creating flowers and decor out of pipe cleaners. Some of her future goals include gaining stable employment that'll give her a livable wage to afford caring for herself and purchasing a car.

Mya loves comfort and tries to move gently through her days as a young adult managing health concerns, job hunting, and various appointments. She's wanted a large teddy bear for quite some time, something to snuggle with for comfort. Mya is very family-oriented, and the move to a new location has taken a toll on her, even though she keeps a smile on her face through it all. Giving Mya one of her favorite Sanrio characters, Mocha, would mean so much to her during a time that has been filled with so much uncertainty.
