Dottie has been through more than most kids her age should ever have to face. After experiencing mistreatment and neglect at home, she entered foster care and recently moved in with a loving foster family who are providing the safety, care, and support she deserves. Despite the challenges she has faced, Dottie remains joyful and curious. She loves being outside, playing with other kids, and spending time with her friends and siblings. As she settles into her new home, she is excited to make new friends, explore her neighborhood, and discover all that her new community has to offer.

Dottie is requesting a bike and helmet to help her feel more at home in her new foster placement and connect with friends in her neighborhood. A bike would give her a fun way to get outside, explore her community, and build new friendships while gaining confidence and independence. Most importantly, this simple wish would bring Dottie joy and a sense of belonging during an important transition in her life.
