Averi has struggled to sleep at night since entering her kinship placement, often insisting on sleeping in the family room with the television on for light and comfort because of nighttime trauma she experienced before. That setup isn't ideal for getting quality rest, so a galaxy projector could provide the light and calming distraction she needs to settle her nervous system. This gift would help Averi feel safe enough to finally transition to sleeping in her own bed and bedroom.
