Dre’von is a teenager in foster care who has lived in several homes. Currently, he lives with his grandmother, whom he loves a lot and feels safe with. He often says he wants to stay with her because she gives him the love and stability he needs. Dre’von is very friendly and likes being around people at home, school, and in the community. He looks forward to school every day, does well in his classes, and enjoys making friends. He also loves sports, especially football, where he shows great teamwork and a competitive spirit.

Dre’von would love a special trip to Sonic for his birthday, where he could choose his favorite meal, drink, and dessert. Picking exactly what he wants from the menu would make the outing feel personal and give him something exciting to anticipate. Whether he chooses a burger, fries, a slush, or a sweet treat, Dre’von would enjoy having a birthday experience centered around the foods he loves. While in foster care, familiar outings and favorite foods can provide comfort and a welcome sense of normalcy. A trip to Sonic would allow Dre’von to step away from his everyday routine, spend meaningful time with people who care about him, and create a positive birthday memory.
