Myshan is a bright, kind, and hardworking young man who has been in foster care for over a year. Although he can be shy and sometimes struggles to open up emotionally, he is working hard to build trust with the adults in his life and become more comfortable expressing his feelings. Myshan enjoys playing basketball and Fortnite, and he continues to excel in school, maintaining good grades. He is thoughtful toward others and has many strengths to be proud of as he continues to grow, build confidence, and navigate his experiences in foster care.

Myshan’s birthday is coming up, and his biggest wish is to receive an iPad. Having an iPad would allow him to FaceTime his mom and siblings, who he does not currently live with, and help him stay connected to the people he loves most. Myshan is placed with his grandmother, who would love nothing more than to make his birthday wish come true, but with four other children also placed in her home, finances are very tight. An iPad would be a meaningful gift for Myshan - not only making his birthday extra special, but also giving him a way to maintain important connections with his family while they are apart.
