Erin is an amazing young lady who spent most of her childhood in foster care. She managed to get a college degree and is currently employed. Erin's positive attitude and determination have helped her succeed in many aspects of her life. She is a hard worker who is not afraid of a challenge. Her resiliency should be admired. Erin is also an advocate for youth in care and those transitioning out.

Erin is a former foster youth living on a fixed income, working part-time, and working hard toward her goal of becoming a full-time social worker. Along the way, Erin has faced real challenges with anxiety, especially in crowds, which can sometimes make it hard for her to even leave her apartment. Her emotional support cat has made a genuine difference, helping her regulate her emotions and get through difficult days. A cat tower would give her companion a safe space to climb, play, and rest, something that supports her cat's wellbeing and, in turn, helps Erin's cat continue to be the calming presence she relies on. But with such a limited income, Erin can't easily afford an extra like this on her own.
