Elvis is a young college student. Elvis was in the Philadelphia foster care system for 11 years and transitioned to college to achieve his dreams and further his education. During his first year, Elvis was diagnosed with Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a condition in which the heart muscle becomes thick. Elvis likes to draw and paint, write song lyrics, and wants to learn tattooing. He is also fluent in sign language.

As an independent college student with limited family support, Elvis works four or more shifts a week at an on-campus dining hall to stay self-sufficient while pursuing his education. Art has become an important coping tool for him, helping him decompress after work and classes, and an iPad would let him tap into that creativity while building skills in digital art, tattoo design, and clothing design. Beyond his creative pursuits, it would also support his coursework, note-taking, and other academic responsibilities. For Elvis, an iPad would be a meaningful investment in both his education and his mental health, giving him a reliable tool to keep building the future he's working so hard toward.
