His foster parents are dedicated to helping him build healthy coping skills and confidence both on the field and in the classroom. Lyric struggles educationally. His foster parents are looking for fun ways to get him interested in learning again. He said he used to love school because when he was little it was fun, but since he was removed from his home, school is less appealing because his mind is busy with other things. Lyric wants to learn, but his attention just isn't there. His foster mom showed him these Minecraft workbooks that were far below his current grade level, so hopefully, they will build his confidence by meeting him where he is.
