Taven is a friendly and caring young man who is currently living in residential foster care and is eager to build a future where he can become more independent. He has a natural desire to be helpful and takes pride in being someone his friends and family can count on. One of his favorite things to do is tinker with cars, whether he is helping a friend or family member with a project or simply learning how things work. Taven enjoys getting his hands dirty, figuring things out, and seeing the results of his hard work. Like many young people preparing for adulthood, he is learning how to navigate responsibilities, make good choices, and discover the kind of future he wants for himself. Taven has a strong desire to prove himself and is looking forward to having more opportunities to learn, grow, and take steps toward the independence he is craving.

An electric scooter would give Taven a greater sense of freedom and independence as he prepares for adulthood. Reliable transportation would allow him to get to and from work, attend activities, and access community spaces without always depending on others.
