As a single mother of two young boys, she faced numerous challenges early in her life, including family dysfunction, displacement, and homelessness. Despite these obstacles, Joyce has shown incredible resilience and determination. Currently, she is pursuing her education to become a medical assistant, all while striving to create a better future for herself and her family. Her strength and commitment to improving their lives exemplify her character and dedication. Joyce’s story reminds us of the power of perseverance and the importance of supporting one another through difficult times.
Joyce recently found out she is expecting a new bundle of joy and is asking for diapers to start her baby's collection. Joyce is a single mother in our independent living program who has faced homelessness after being in foster care in her younger years.
