She has been in foster care for quite some time, and it looked like she was going to be able to go home to her mom, but she passed away. Nevaeh has been working hard to process this grief. Even through all of this, she has maintained her sweet demeanor. She is a hard worker and does well in school. She loves animals and even has her own dog.
Nevaeh needs a new pair of shoes, and she has her heart set on purple-and-black Nikes. Purple is her favorite color, and she has never owned name-brand shoes before. A pair she picked out and loves would make her feel excited and proud every time she puts them on. They would give her something new and special to walk into each day with, and the joy of finally owning a pair she has dreamed about.
