Each year more than 500,000 kids in the United States spend time in the foster care system due to abuse, neglect and trauma that no child should ever have to endure. But these children are just like every child - with dreams, hopes and wishes that they'd love to see come true!

As Christmas and Hanukkah approach, children eagerly count down the days until they can gather around tables filled with delicious treats, open presents, and spend quality time with loved ones. However, for those experiencing foster care or crisis, the holidays can take on a very different tone. One Simple Wish is committed to ensuring that every child feels loved, seen, and heard. While the holiday season brings cheer for many, it can be a challenging time for children impacted by the foster care system. This year, One Simple Wish is hosting our annual holiday party, focused on reuniting siblings and families for a day while providing warm meals, fun, and a room full of thoughtful gifts. $70 can sponsor one attendee and help ensure every child feels cherished and cared for this holiday season. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to making sure every kid has a fun, festive, and joy-filled holiday season.
