Central Region Youth Advisory Board (YAB)Myasia prefers to go by Mike and is a perfect example of courage and strength. He always is true to who he is and is extremely accepting of others. Mike challenges the people around him to look at the world differently and generally finds the good in things. Mike lost his mom to cancer 2 years ago and has been in congregate care since. He is still healing from the loss, but still continues to be a rock for others.
Mike is hoping for a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet so that he can use it as he starts his schooling at Mercer County Community College. Mike has come from a pretty difficult background but stays committed to a creating a brighter future for himself. A laptop would help him do well in his classes so that he can qualify to eventually transfer to Rutgers University.
