A tablet for Quadyre who is having a lot of trouble focusing in school

Quadyre is an extremely hyperactive child with developmental delays. He has difficulty staying focused and learning. The resource parent and the teacher are very invested in his education and are working together to help Quadyre learn the material being taught in class. It is felt that a tablet would be helpful for educational games. Quadyre seems to focus on the screen better than he can on paper.
Quadyre is 11 years old and lives in NJ
Quadyre is an imaginative boy who is in foster care for over a year. He loves cartoons and movie nights with his foster family. He has extreme behavioral issues that have tremendously decreased since he has been in care. He is very active and is now using his energy in karate and boxing where he is learning about self esteem, bullying and discipline. Quadyre enjoys it very much. He has difficulties learning and the foster parents and the school are working very closely to get Quadyre where he needs to be. One of the strategies that they want to work on is using a tablet or lab top for educational games. Quadyre seems to be much more focused this way. His foster parents are committed to adopting him and are very invested in this child's life.
