A trip to Target for Orlando to choose new back to school items!

It is an amazing accomplishment for a foster youth to be able to attend a university; Orlando will be entering his second year as a student and his first as a Guardian Scholar. He would love the chance to shop for items to outfit his dorm, purchase food, and hygienic items. We want to welcome him into the Guardian Scholars family and help him start the new school year off on the right foot.
Orlando is 26 years old and lives in CA
Orlando is a second year university student. It is too early to say what he wants to do after graduation, but with a brother attending UCLA he and his siblings have already overcome a tremendous amount of challenges to be where they are now. While its too early to tell what he wants to do after graduation, he is really studious and dedicated to his academics. He is a bit shy, but when you get to know him, he really opens up. Orlando does not benefit from the other state aid other foster youth are privy to, he works and puts himself through college.
