The Comfort Cottage is a place where children in foster care have visits with their birth families in a home-like atmosphere. Before the Cottage was established, visits were taking place in windowless and dreary rooms in an office building. Now families visit in a little house, in brightly painted rooms with very nice toys and lots of sunshine and space. There is even a full bathroom for parents who would like to bathe their infants, a kitchen for parents to make lunch for their children, and a yard with a playhouse. Meeting in the Comfort Cottage allows children and their birth parents to have quality visits.

The Comfort Cottage is a place where children in foster care have visits with their birth parents. The Cottage is a warm, nurturing atmosphere that helps ensure children and families feel at home and can have meaningful time together. One of the best things about the cottage is that there are many wonderful toys for the children and parents to play with together. The toys are kept very clean and in excellent condition but we would be so excited to have some toy boxes to store them in to help keep them that way. The children love the brightly decorated and cheerful visit rooms and having pleasant boxes to protect and store their toys would be a wonderful and necessary addition to the Cottage.
