Precious is a female adolescent from the Atlantic City area. She was abandoned by her mother at the age of 6 years old. Her father has been in and out of her life due to chronic incarceration. She resided with her paternal grandmother most of her life whom she believed to be her mother. Her grandmother, who provided the most of her stability all of her life passed away last year and there was no one able to care for her. Precious has been in several foster homes and has no one to be to be reunified with. She has had difficulty with completing school due to this upset and transitions. She is struggling to complete her school work and keep up with her grades. Despite Precious's hardships, she has remained a positive youth and refrains from any criminal activity or substance misuse. Precious attends school and works part-time.
