When asked about his wish, Tariq explained, "I really enjoy customizing my shoes because its a healthy hobby for me to spend my free time doing and I enjoy expressing myself artistically. Having many colors gives me more ability to be creative."

Tariq is currently living in a group home far away from his family. He likes to go to school and play basketball. Tariq's favorite subject is English, and he is also very passionate about music. Tariq hopes his group home will help him get back on the right track after all the struggles in his past. He is very focused on making a better future for himself. Tariq is very polite, compassionate and committed to achieving his goals.
