Makayla is now in Middle School and most of her work and projects are completed on the computer. Makayla is very dedicated and works her schedule to be able to use the computer at either the public library or the school. However, a laptop of her own would mean she could spend more time working and less time travelling around. It would be so beneficial if Makayla and would really help her with her education.
Makayla is 19 years old and lives in NJ
Makayla was first placed in a foster home in 2009. Due to her mother’s mental health issues and substance abuse concerns, Makayla was removed from her mother three times. Makayla has one sister, and the two of them have been in eight different foster homes. Makayla and her sister are currently together in a foster home and are enjoying some stability as they work toward improving their future together.
