Micah is an avid and successful basketball player, who is doing well in school. He lives in a foster home without his older brother and younger sister who have higher needs. He does get to see them monthly, and also gets to visit with his aunt and uncle who live three hours away periodically. Micah is involved with the Independent Living Program, which is preparing him for adulthood. He is considering a Military career but his CASA believes that he could get a college scholarship for basketball, being slated already as a starter on the varsity team next year.
