Cailin is a first generation, full time, college student majoring in Film at CSULB. Her non-traditional upbringing as a foster child did not allow her to be able to participate or experience traditional events that other non-foster youth had growing up.

Cailin did not have the opportunity that many young adults get growing up like learning to drive a car. She currently relies heavily on public transportation. She often times finds herself having to miss opportunities due to public transportation and the limited hours public transportation operates. Cailin is really needing to learn to drive and receive her license. Once Cailin learns to drives, she will be able to be more independent and feel accomplished and be able to transport herself once she has saved up to purchase a car.
