A Electric Guitar for Tyler who is learning to play the guitar

Posted Feb 27, 2019
Tyler has been teaching himself how to play guitar because he is very passionate about music and how amazing it makes him feel. He is getting better and better every day. The guitar he currently has is very old and worn down from all of his practicing. Tyler would love a cherry red electric guitar to play and continue to practice on so he can master one of the things he loves most in life.

Tyler is 17 years old and lives in Salem, OR

Tyler is a bright young man with a great future ahead of him. He is very driven and interested in learning as much as he can about computers and coding. Tyler also enjoys playing guitar, painting and skateboarding. Tyler is very invested in his education and hopes to one day get his masters degree in Computer Software Engineering. Tyler is a very talkative, kind, insightful young man and is always willing to hep those in his life.

Michael grants the wish for Tyler! Thanks Michael.

"Hi Tyler, I saw your wish and hope you enjoy the guitar!! You are very bright and have a very bright future. Computer science is a great area to explore. I was born and raised in Eugene and Now I live in Bend. I think you live in Salem. I went to the U of O which might be a good school for you. Also I know Lane Community college has a feeder program which goes right into the U of O. Anyway it’s a thought. There is a lot of snow here in Bend right now and we have been skiing a lot. I am retired."

"Thank you so much ! I opened the guitar today and already have dreams of tuning it and getting started tonight. I planned on getting it in red but I love it even more in black."

Michael sent an update on the wish for Tyler.

"I was thinking about you and your wish the other day hoping I might hear from you, but not really expecting to. Thank you for writing me back. Catholic Community Services is a great organization so I knew your wish was for real. After I sent you the email. I thought maybe going to college at Oregon State might be best for computer science. Either way I am sure you will do great! If there is anything else I can do to help let me know. Michael "
