A Bike for Mason to use for transportation to get to and from work

Mason, 25 years old

Wish submitted by:

IEP Youth Services, Inc.

Mason is a very dedicated young man. He was homeless and trying to live on his own when he advocated for himself to enter into our transitional living program. He has been working hard learning life skills, such as working towards his driver's license, budgeting and money management, cooking and household management. He is planning on starting college at the community college this coming fall semester. He was able to secure employment within days of entering program and has been working about 40 hours per week. Mason is a hard worker and wants to be a productive and self reliant young adult.

Mason has been working so hard and was able to secure a job at Walmart with days of entering our program. He has been working close to 40 hours per week as he would like to start college in the fall and knows he will not be able to work as much then. He is trying to save his money for his own apartment and car one day. He is asking for a bike and bike lock to get to and from work so he can save money instead of using the bus or uber (in the evenings when he gets off later than when the bus runs).
