Jake is such a bright light for coming from such a dark past. He has Autism and is non-verbal but is exceedingly well at expressing his emotions. He is so well behaved and as sweet as can be, always running up to hug staff when they clock in. He is slowly using more and more words since being placed at the shelter with us, like yes, no and bye. We are sadly his twelfth placement facility in the almost 5 years that he has been in the system. Jake loves to play outside, even though we can't get him to keep his shoes on for more than five minutes, and he is all about toy cars!

Jake loves to sit down and play with his his hands. It helps him calm down and focus his high energy. These puzzle balls would not only be really fun but very therapeutic because they're small enough for him to take one whenever he goes to he has an outlet always. He will love having all different kinds to play with!
