Foster kids are kids, period. And they just want to have the same freedom and joy as their peers. Each year thousands of kids enter foster care in our state, separated from their friends, families, neighborhoods and most of what is familiar to them. It can be difficult, but One Simple Wish strives to make the transition a little easier so kids can enjoy childhood and make happy memories!

A foster child deserves to have all the experiences of a child in a normal home. They love to dress up and go get candy on Halloween like every other child. They are already talking about what costume they want to wear and what their favorite candy is! Our children go to a neighborhood Truck-Or-Treat every year but this year it won't be going on so we want to make sure they don't miss out on the normalcy and fun of trick or treating so we want to provide that experience for them!
