Mackenzie is working to build her "hope chest" and add an electric can opener to it. She is planning to move out when she is 18, and she hopes to have some items to help moving into her new place a bit easier.
Mackenzie is 22 years old and lives in NC
Mackenzie has been in foster care for a long while, and also has siblings in care, but she doesn't live with them. She is working on finding her first job and finishing school. She hopes to be out of foster care some day--she states she is very tired of the system. She wants to be able to care for her own family some day and have a very positive life.
