Jake is such a bright light for coming from such a dark past. He has Autism and is non-verbal but is exceedingly well at expressing his emotions. He is so well behaved and as sweet as can be, always running up to hug staff when they clock in. He is slowly using more and more words since being placed at the shelter with us, like yes, no and bye. We are sadly his twelfth placement facility in the almost 5 years that he has been in the system. Jake loves to play outside, even though we can't get him to keep his shoes on for more than five minutes, and he is all about toy cars!

Jake loves all things Paw Patrol from tee shirts to toys to his light-up paw patrol toothbrush! He has asked for a watch since his friend got one for his birthday. He will just jump for joy when he sees this Paw Patrol watch! It has four interactive games with progressive learning levels! We already know that once he puts it on, that's it, he will never take it off again!
