Tutoring for Jeana who needs some help

Jeana was removed from her mother's home almost 2 years ago, where she experienced physical and mental abuse. Her mother moved frequently and often did not send Jeana to school for months at a time. Jeana was recently reunited with her father. She is very far behind in school and has experienced bullying by classmates because of this. Jeana lacks many social skills learned at an early age which have created problems at home and at school, though she is progressing rapidly in that area. She would benefit greatly from one on one tutoring to bring her up to grade level. Jeana is smart, lacks self-motivation but excels when given individual attention. With one on one tutoring, Jeana will be able to not only excel in school but in her personal life as well! She has started tutoring and is gaining much progress and confidence.
Jeana is 15 years old and lives in CA
Jeana was removed from her mother's care after many years of physical and emotional abuse. Her mother suffers from mental issues and Jeana's first 9 years were lived in a chaotic environment. She was moved frequently and often did not attend school for months on end. She was in a series of foster homes for 10 months and was then reunited with her father whom she hardly knew. She has adjusted quite well after some expected bumps. He father struggles financially, but is determined to make a home for Jeana and eventually get full custody. Jeana is a sweet, playful and talkative pre-tween, sadly she missed so much of her childhood and is struggling with social skills and academics. She is far behind academically though she has worked hard to try to catch up.
