Amai'a is a very resilient and kind young girl who has been involved with the Division for several years. She has several biological siblings but unfortunately does not have contact with any of them. She struggled in high school so she dropped out but plans to obtain her GED one day . Amai'a gave birth to a healthy baby girl in 2020. She loves to sing and is very creative. She enjoys listening to music and often uses this as a coping method when she is upset or feeling lonely. She also loves to cook different kinds of foods.

Amai'a recently found out she is pregnant and is expected to give birth in June 2020. Although she realizes being a young mother will be very hard, she is looking forward to learning the skills to help her be a good mother. Amai'a is looking for employment as she wants to save as much money before she gives birth to be able to provide for her child. She really needs new clothing so she can look presentable while going on job interviews.
