Jake is such a bright light for coming from such a dark past. He has Autism and is non-verbal but is exceedingly well at expressing his emotions. He is so well behaved and as sweet as can be, always running up to hug staff when they clock in. He is slowly using more and more words since being placed at the shelter with us, like yes, no and bye. We are sadly his twelfth placement facility in the almost 5 years that he has been in the system. Jake loves to play outside, even though we can't get him to keep his shoes on for more than five minutes, and he is all about toy cars!

Jake loves Paw Patrol, his favorite character is Chase! He’s so excited to ride his new scooter but that means he needs a new helmet! He fell in love with this 3D Chase helmet and it perfectly matches his scooter! He will truly feel like his super self with this on top of his head!
