She has completed her first semester in college, has attended out-of-state college workshops, continues to be an advocate for her generation, and is working on her fashion portfolio. Maya would greatly appreciate help in obtaining more materials to continue to build her fashion line and portfolio!

Maya is a creative, smart, funny, and determined young lady who recently entered into a transitional housing program and is living on her own for the first time. Maya is excited about beginning her new journey and having a space to call her own where she can really focus on her goals. Maya's goal is to attend college where she hopes to study business so that her love for fashion can translate into a reputable business that allows her to give back to her community.
