Scarlett is a young mother who has overcome many challenges. She was kicked out of her home as a teenager, and had periods of street homelessness and foster care. She finally got her own apartment at 19, where she lives with her vivacious little girl. Recently, Scarlett has also taken in her two younger sisters, aged 8 and 12, to keep them from living with strangers in the foster care system. Scarlett is a phenomenal mother, who has truly broken any perceived cycle of abuse. Her daughter is the light of her life, and the care she shows for her is clearly apparent.

Scarlett attended One Simple Wish's Holiday Wish Party in NYC on December 16th. She had so much fun at Dyllan's Candy Bar. After receiving her wish certificate and thinking long and hard about what she wanted this is what she chose!
