School Supplies and Books for Eunice

Posted Feb 3, 2020
Last semester the One Simple Wish community assisted Eunice with books and school supplies while in college, and she earned 3 A's and 2 A-'s! This semester she is enrolled in 16 credit courses, and is just powering through her undergraduate degree. While she is working, her hours are not enough to cover her personal and educational expenses, so Eunice is asking for some help in getting the books that she is unable to rent and supplies for the spring semester.

Eunice is 23 years old and lives in NV

Eunice is an incredible individual. After entering Foster Care at birth, she experienced 27 foster homes before finding the foster parents that would never let her go. She has worked hard, and graduated high school with honors, and is now focused on obtaining her degree in Hospitality so she can open her own club someday. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University last year, but decided to return to Nevada this year to be closer to her foster family and in warmer weather. She is driven, determined, and passionate about being successful through education.

"Thank you so much for supporting Eunice in her education! Nevada has just recently started offering Tuition assistance for foster youth, and up until now many youth here have not received support to pursue a degree. Without having family or a support system to turn to, this can make higher education unattainable for many youth as they are struggling to work and simply survive. It truly takes a village and we are thankful you are part of ours. "
