Carlos is working on being independent, but it's been difficult since his cell phone broke. He is wanting to spend more time alone in the community, but he needs a phone to be able to communicate with his foster parents when he is away.
Carlos is 23 years old and lives in OR
Carlos is a strong, motivated young man. He is currently living in a foster home for youth with developmental disabilities, and he's working hard to become more independent. Carlos is shy when you first meet him, but opens up over time. He likes to spend time with his friends, and is trying to start exercising more. Carlos hopes to one day become an auto mechanic.
