James mostly wears second hand shoes. He is getting older and socializing with peers more so he is starting to notice that his clothes aren't as trendy as his friends are. He has a job now and has some money to go out to eat, but the Nike sneakers he wants are out of his reach right now.
James is 20 years old and lives in NJ
James has been in foster care since 2012, when the relative with whom he was living became homeless. Since then, James has moved from placement to placement, feeling more lost as each one failed. He is still hoping to be reunified with a family member or adopted by another family, but in the meantime, tries his hardest to fit in and adapt to each new situation. He loves sports, especially football and basketball.
