Yves is ready to start discussions with decision makers in Foster Care! His mission is to hold them accountable for their promises and making sure they understand the unique challenges refugees come with. Yves would love to purchase a new outfit that will help him feel as as confident as possible!
Yves is 24 years old and lives in NY
Yves came to the United States as a refugee when he was 3 years old as an orphan. He is currently in classes to prepare him to age out of the foster care system. He is a very motivated young man who has secured a job for himself and has maintained this job for over a year. Yves has not been adopted, although he has hoped for a family for many years. Yves is now looking forward to gaining his independence. He is also a part of a committee with the mission of making the foster care system better.
