Project Family at LundHouston is a charming young man who has experienced many losses in his young life. Despite all of the losses and difficulties he has faced in his young life, he remains a very kind, caring, and social youth. He started playing Lacrosse last year, and it was his first experience at an organized team sport. He loved it and looks forward to returning to his team this spring. This was a big confidence builder and provided him with a focus to be active, practice and get better for the coming year.
Houston is hoping to play lacrosse again this year. Last year, because it was his first year, he was loaned equipment through the program with the understanding that the loan was only for the first year. This was a great confidence builder for him and he absolutely loved the sport! At Christmas time he was given a new Lacrosse stick and gloves, but he needs to get shoulder pads, a helmet and cleats. He said he wouldn't mind wearing a used helmet and shoulder pads, but if he had the chance to get new items it would be a great boost for him this year.
