Royal has been home like most children in NJ, since the middle of March, when home school began. She is in foster care with her maternal aunt and has a case goal of adoption. Royal's aunt is a single parent who works from home, so she is working hard to balance working, teaching 2nd grade and parenting. Royal's aunt is very cautious about going outside and does not take Royal to stores or to visit family members during this time of quarantine. There is a park with a walking path across from their home where they take walks a few times a week. Royal's wish is for a scooter to make her walks more fun and exciting! She works hard on her school work all day and has been getting into trouble with her behavior recently because she is getting rambunctious in the house. Riding her scooter outside will be a healthy outlet.
