Melody is quickly approaching her birthday which will be the big eighteen. That means she will officially be an ‘adult’ which also means she will be aging out of the foster care system. She has done so amazing and it’s been a true pleasure to watch her grow into the woman she is now. She was accepted into a program which helps foster youth find housing after aging out and she is beyond excited for her first apartment. She really needs some help gaining household essentials like a bed and a mattress. She also wishes to be able to decorate her new place to really make it feel like home. She is going to be a powerful woman who makes a lot of positive change in the world, we can tell, she just needs the first push to help her.
