Laela and her sister will be getting to go to a pool as part of their summer care program. She would love to have a colorful beach towel big enough to really get wrapped up in.

Laela is very much into fashion and social media. She stays on top of the latest makeup trends and loves to put on sparkly eyeshadow. Thankfully, her foster mom keeps a close watch on her online activity and makes sure Laela's experience online remains a positive one. Laela is a good student and enjoys going to school, even though she was a bit dismayed to learn there was no recess in middle school. She tried out for cheerleading this year, but didn't make the squad. This hasn't kept her down, though! She is already working on a routine to try out for next season.
