Hands Across The WaterMafianna is a creative and active girl. She loves making her own art and craft masterpieces. A love for music began recently when she moved into a home with a piano. She is enjoying learning how to play the piano. In MaFianna's current foster home, she is living without her siblings for the first time. She misses being with them and tries to connect with them as much as she can.
School has been challenging for Mafianna. Math, reading, and writing are areas she wants to work on this summer to be ready to return to the classroom in the fall. She hopes to catch up and be at grade level by September. Her current foster mother is compiling a list of online learning and educational game sites for Mafianna to use every day. In addition, the laptop will allow Mafianna to maintain regular contact with her siblings that are living in other homes. This is their first time living apart and she really misses them. She is excited to participate in video visits with her siblings.
