The family has moved from house to house for many years and been homeless on and off for over a year. The children have had to leave behind many possessions, having no real belongings of their own and have often been split up between homes. The mother is a single mother of 6 children and struggling to provide essential items, much less toys for her children. The children have not experienced a stable home life for some time. Naliah has a bedroom for the first time in a long time and wishes for a bean bag to sit and read on!
Naliah is 15 years old and lives in NJ
Naliah loves spending time with her sisters, reading and riding her new bike. She wants to do something important when she grows up! She loves helping people and wants to do something that involves the homeless as she can relate.
