Deontay is currently waiting on the team at St. Christopher’s Hospital for a surgery date. He has a massive hole in his heart and it is highly recommended he has corrective surgery before September. Deontay is also suffering from Fast Breathing, which is a great concern as well. In addition to being in Heart Failure, he was also just fitted for a helmet which he will have to wear 23 hours out of the day. His foster family is wonderful, and ensures he is doing all of his at home physical therapy. However, he will need a safe place to play and squirm after surgery. This play yard is super soft and will give Deontay enough room to roll, scoot, and squirm til his heart's content! This sensory play area will also aid Deontay in developing his physical and mental needs as he grows!
