A New Laptop for Esteban who is trying to change his life

Esteban has requested a lap top in order to complete school work remotely to earn his HVAC license. He previously had a laptop but after he was detained by ICE, all of his belongings were stolen and he has been unable to retrieve them. He feels that while he was detained he gained a better outlook on his life and wants to make improvements before he ages out of DCPP services. He feels that a HVAC license will offer him a stable career he can depend on. Esteban has made some mistakes but has shown maturity. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it would be very difficult for Esteban to keep up with the program work without a laptop!
Esteban is 24 years old and lives in NJ
Esteban has had a challenging past year and due to his immigration status, he spend several months detained. He has now since been released and wants to pursue the HVAC program through the Bergen Technical Adult Education program in the fall of 2020. Esteban has been in the care of Division since 12/27/17 and is currently living in a supervised living program in Newark, NJ. Esteban is interested in starting in a career in HVAC in order to build himself a stable future with hopes of someday owning a business and working for himself. Esteban has shown himself to be a very resourceful and intelligent young man who has had to overcome many obstacles starting at an early age.
