Dajour has overcome many challenges over the last few months since he entered care. He felt a heavy responsibility to make sure his baby sister was taken care of and now that she is, he is ready to be a kid again. It will be a difficult transition, so he would like to start with having his own Nintendo Switch. There are a lot of games that he would be able to explore on his very own Switch and he's seen a lot of other kids have fun with them. He would be so grateful to have his own gaming system for his first birthday in foster care. This gift would be so meaningful!
Dajour is 14 years old and lives in OH
Dajour is an amazing big brother. When he entered foster care with his six month old baby sister, it was clear he had been taking care of her almost all on his own. He was so focused on making sure his baby sister was eating, sleeping, and getting changed that is was hard for him to let go of those responsibilities and let his foster parents take care of her. Now he is learning to be a kid again, and getting the mental health services he needs.
