Colton has worked really hard this year to make progress in his mental health and behaviors. He has asked for a Nintendo Switch gaming console for Christmas, and he totally deserves it! Colton has been in the system for so long that he doesn't know what it's like to be able to ask for a specific item and actually get it. This wish is so meaningful!
Colton is 20 years old and lives in IN
Colton has been in care since he was only 6 years old. He has seen his siblings get adopted out, but his trauma was too much for those families to cope with. Colton is hopeful he will one day get adopted, though he will age out of the system soon. After years of struggling, much therapy and rehabilition, Colton is stable today and leading a mostly typical teenage existence. He likes to watch action movies, play video games, cheer on his favorite sports teams (especially the Indianapolis Colts), and listens to music to calm himself and feel grounded.
